Camping with Friends!

Jeremy and I sure do enjoy getting out and about. We both spent a lot of time camping as kids, and we are glad to continue the tradition with our children. We spent last weekend camping at Salmon La Sac with some wonderful friends. It was a great trip filled with lots of laughter, playing, great food, and beautiful sights. And, plenty of relaxing moments. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends!

Farm Fun!

Last Friday, I took D2 to visit a farm in Auburn with some friends. It was SUCH a relaxing morning...the farm was small and so personal. We were the only guests. Derick and Darla enjoyed seeing the animals and playing with their friends. Derick was so brave! He got over his fear of horses and actually rode one around a field. I was so proud of him. We are already thinking of putting this place on our summer "to-do" list.

Happy Birthday to me!!

I can't believe I just turned 37 years old! I don't feel 37....more like 27 in my head. But, whatever....I believe age is all a state of mind anyway. To celebrate my youthfulness, we decided to take a trip to the Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA. This water girl was in heaven!!! The hotel has an indoor water park with lots to do, an arcade, fun magic games to entertain the older kids, yummy eats, plus fun themed rooms. There was an animated music show and story time for the kids. Derick and I loved the water park...he's so my kid! Jeremy was cool with it, Darla not so much. She hung in there the first day, but the second day, she was DONE! That's OK, next year, she' get more out of it. One of the BEST parts of the visit was this video. I love my kids!

Seattle Aquarium with the family

Jodi and Brian gave us a wonderful gift for Christmas, a trip to the Seattle Aquarium with the whole family! Today, we met up with all the clans for some fun. J2D2 really enjoyed seeing all the fish and sea life. Here are some pics from the morning.

Wedding preparation

There's a wedding in the family this summer...Jeremy's brother Josh is getting married to Nikanne in July. Jeremy and I are both participants in the wedding along with other family members. We spent part of our weekend getting ready for the big day. From wedding favors to hair trial runs, it was fun to think weddings. It makes me remember my wedding day, that special moment that Jeremy and I joined our lives together. Here are a few pics from the events this weekend.

Weekend Away....

...with the Girls! Since Darla and I have finally finished nursing, it was time for mommy to have some away time, over night! I planned a weekend away at the ocean with some of my bestest friends. We had a wonderful time. There were walks on the beach, crafts, lots of great food, and tasty cocktails. It was so much fun, I am already wanting to go back. My cup is full with such love and friendship in my life!

Preschool fun

Our last field trip with Pied Piper Preschool this year was a day at the Beach! We visited Seahurst Beach park in Burien. It was a new park to the J2D2 clan and we loved it!!! The class saw all kinds of great beach life. Here's a few pics of the fun we had.
