I just had to share this image, since it keeps coming back to me since it happened. This week, I traveled with my mom and son to E. WA to visit family. We were sitting by the pool one afternoon, in the Spokane heat, and all of a sudden, a strong, warm pine smell floated by me. It was amazing. My aunt said it was the pine tree in her yard. Have you ever smelled hot pine trees? OMG, I could have sat there and smelled that smell forever. It was such a sweet, warm, fresh scent. If I could bottle it, I would. It made me feel so relaxed, so peaceful, so happy. Sitting in the sun, feeling the warm air move across my face, and smelling that sweet warm pine tree. That was relaxation.
