Mother's Day 2011

Being a mom is one of the hardest things I've ever done.  I am challenged in ways I never dreamed of.  And, I have learned so much more than I expected; about myself, about my husband; and about the world.  I wouldn't take a moment back, even the ones filled with tears.  Because I know there are 10 times more moments filled with love.  And I have such a different kind of respect for my own mom.  She makes it look soooo easy!

We had some nice family gatherings this weekend to celebrate all the moms.  Jeremy's family came to our house Saturday afternoon/evening for a yummy Mexican meal.  He made my favorite, Tamale bake!

Cousins Darla, Jewel, Derick, Jordan, and Lucas.
All the cousins together, getting everyone to look at once is impossible...but we tried.  :)

My family joined us for breakfast on Sunday morning, before the Kunz troop headed more south for some horse racing fun.  The meal was wonderful, and we all ate too much, again!
Cousins Sydney, Cooper, Darla, & Derick.

 Handsome Derick

Moms and kids, minus Coop who just wasn't into photos that day.  :)

Happy Mother's Day to all of the amazing moms out there.  You do an incredible job!
