Camping at Ohanapecosh

5 families descended on one of Mt Rainer's most beautiful campgrounds over the weekend, and J2D2 got to join in the fun.  There was lots of beautiful green trees, talks around the campfire, and running free for the kids.  We took a beautiful hike on Saturday to Silver Falls and it was breathtaking!

The mountain, from the road.  Stunning in all that sunshine!
My grill master, making his famous bacon for breakfast.

All the girls, piled in a chair together.

Last summer Derick was sick on the hike and it took all of our strength as a family to get to the top!  This time, he was his usual self and running up front with the other kids.
Silver Falls. I wish you could HEAR the power in this picture.  It was amazing!
 Snack and rest break.
Darla napped on me while we hiked.

Darla with Gary's hat.  Darla just loves Gary!
  Smores time; YUM!
Darla and Ava relaxing while the adults packed up.

Our time went quick, and we look forward to going back again soon.  Thanks to the Nordlands, Overlins, Mausts, and Carsons for a super fun weekend!
