Spring Break mini vacation

We took a quick mini spring break get away to Wenachee, WA to change up the scenery and take advantage of some free hotel stays that Jeremy has earned through all his work travel.  We stayed at the newest Marriot hotel, which we enjoyed.  It's so pretty, has a nice pool, free hot breakfast and complimentary cookies and wine in the evening.  We got out and explored the town a bit, did the applet and cotlet tour and visited the museum.  Darla got sick while we were there and we even had a visit from the tooth fairy!  It was a busy vacation for Mom and Dad!
Snow on the pass!  We had to get out to feel it since we didn't get any in the low lands this winter.
My big boy, trying new foods.  Proud mama.
What's left of a childhood haunt, the Chieftain Hotel.  The hotel was purchased by best western, but the sign (a historic landmark) remains on the old site....how housing an Office Depot.
We spent some time enjoying the river walk and parks along the way.

Fever strikes....and the tooth fairy visits!
We really enjoyed the museum's train exhibit and all the apple processing history.  The kids did a scavenger hunt which helped keep them interested too.
