Jeremy and I have been wanting to complete this part of our veggie garden since the summer....but life has been busy. This weekend, we decided to finally fill in the walk ways of our garden. So, to keep out the weeds for a while, we lined the walkways with paper and cardboard first. It keeps out the light so well and is a natural product, which we love.
It's a hot and muggy fall day, but the last dry one for a while.

Finally, cedar play chips from our favorite place; Carpinito Brothers in Kent. $20 for a yard, which was *just* the right amount!
It smells SO good out there now.....even one more reason to enjoy my happy place.
