Renton River Days 2012

We love to check out our local city's summer festival, Renton River Days.  I've been going pretty much since Jeremy and I had kids.  It's always fun...bouncy houses, face painting, fun food, lots of DUCKS, vendors selling stuff, and wonderful people watching. This year, the kids and I did alot of it on Friday, while Jeremy worked.  Saturday, he volunteered at the soccer tournament that is put on by S.C.O.R.E (the soccer club he is registrar for).  So we came down for the parade on Saturday morning and enjoyed both days with our good friends, The Martineaus.

Lines were short and Derick was brave enough to try the big bubble this year.  He did great.

 All the kids, SO CUTE!

The boys had to try tonge tattoos!

One of the fun parts of the festival is the duck scavenger hunts.  The Martineaus are really into this game, we are going to try it next year, for sure! Here are some of the ducks that got decorated and were hiding out all over town.  So fun!
Kids, ready for a parade!  Turns out it's more fun to be IN the parade than watch it, at least for this one.  Maybe the kids will be old enough for the torchlight parade next year.  Maybe.

Best float of the day.  Quack Quack!
