D2's Cousins come for a visit

My sister and her hubby celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on June 22nd with a trip to New Orleans.  J2D2 jumped at the chance to have the kids stay with us.  We enjoyed having the kids with us for 6 days.  Everyone got along well, with minor skirmishes here and there over toys and sharing.
Cooper and Derick at the bus stop on Derick's last day of kindergarten.
Darla and Sydney playing in the sandbox.
Chillin out at home, being super cute!
The girls, ready for a dance party.  Sydney loved having another girl to hang with and wanted to do everything Darla did.
Jeremy took a day off work and we took the kids into seattle for some fun. We rode the light rail from Tukwilla into Westlake, then switched trains to the Monorail. We had lunch at the center house and then played at The Children's Museum while the rain pounded outside.
The kids did great on a packed train, and even stood most of the way in to Seattle.
 Metro bus play!
 Fire people Darla and Derick
 Ahoy, captian Cooper!

Cooper loved this log hidy hole.
 Big Syd smiles.
 Getting down on the drums
All four kids preparing sushi for Jeremy and I.
On the Monorail ride home, the driver let them each honk the horn.  Cute!
Dinner out at Dairy Queen, finished off with blizzards for everyone!
Darla and Sydney loved to help Jeremy in the kitchen, evey chance they got.
Saturday morning park play; just before the next big rain storm hit. We made it home just in time!

Monday, I took the fab four to one of my favorite Renton parks, Phillip Arnold, on top of Renton Hill.
Quiet time, chillin out with some TV time.

I was so impressed with how well our kids get along.  I could tell by the end of the visit, that everyone was ready for some of their own personal time and C&S were missing their mom and dad.  But, I know the overall feeling was good. Thanks to Nonna for filling in for me while I was out Saturday night.  I know everyone enjoyed a new face and dinner out at RR is always a treat!  We look forward to the next time we can host a cousin sleep over!
