Darla's first day at Preschool

It was a big day at the Peery household today....our lil lady had her first day of school, ever.  She is attending Creative Kids Preschool, which is housed at the Renton Community Center.  She was SO brave today, and told me she was only a little nervous.  She picked out her outfit and got her back pack on, ready to go. 

 All geared up and ready to go.  She already had her teacher's names memorized; Ms Colleen and Ms Erin.

 Those big doors make her look so small. 

After stowing her sweater and backpack near her cubby, we headed over to the carpet for circle time.  After a few moments, I told her I was going to go.  She turned, blew me a kiss and waved.  "Bye Mom!"  And just like that, another chapter in our lives has begun.  I left the room in tears......

When I picked her up, she was full of bubbly energy; so happy!  She told me about story time, art, and that she especially loved the music and dancing time.  Yup, she's ready even if I wasn't.  And I know she's going to have a wonderful year!
