J2's 9th Wedding Anniversary

Jeremy and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary this week.  We both spent some time reflecting on how far we've come as a couple and as parents.  9 years seems to have gone so fast, and yet we feel like we've done so much together.  I still remember our wedding day and how much love I felt for Jeremy and how much love we both felt from the friends and family that celebrated with us.
What's great is I still feel that way today!  Sure, we have our troubles just like every relationship has. But through it all, our friendship and respect for each other remains.  This year we celebrated with a night out in Seattle.  We had dinner at the Fox Sports Grill in downtown, and spent $3 of our own money thanks to a raffle Jeremy won over the summer.  Then it was on to the Public Market, only to find that it was closed!!  I guess we lingered at dinner too long....
So while walking through all the closed up shops we stopped to check out the Can Can, a dinner/show venue in the market.  I had been with some girl friends before, but Jeremy had never been.  Time to give it a go.  We had a good time, though for me, it wasn't my favorite show by the Castaway performers.
Still the dessert was rich and chocolaty and the dancing is always good.  Happy Anniversary, babe!  Here's to the next 9 years and more!
