Jeremy and I spent the new year with some friends. It was our first time using a babysitter and not just pawning our kids off on family or just staying home. I was a little nervous, but it turned out great. Our friends hosted the kids and the babysitter at their house, and the adults partied at another couple's home. There was wonderful food, lots of great drinks, and fun games to play. We checked out the new Xbox Kinexct (sp) and played dirty pictionary without fear of little ears overhearing. At midnight, we watched the TV coverage of the space needle fireworks and wished each other Happy New Year with a champagne toast.

I have decided not to make any new year's resolutions yet. Just more focus on taking care of myself and my family in the best way I know how.
