Project Veggie Garden is under way!

Jeremy and I have been dreaming of growing our own vegetables for years now. We have decided that it's time to make that dream come true. The kids are old enough now to help, so preparation has begun. We are going to expand the side of our yard to make a happy little garden. The first phase was to trim the cherry tree so more light can get into this space. The Second phase entails moving a row of laurel hedges and a fence before we can even construct the raised beds for the veggies.

Third step...measurement time. Well, and dreaming time too. Jeremy and I like this phase alot. We had a ball talking about what to put where.

We are so excited for the end result, but dreading the next phase: moving the hedges. It's going to be back breaking work! Anyone willing to help will be fed well. :)
